purchasing tickets

1. To purchase tickets to screening go to the Films page: https://www.salemfilmfest.com/films-2024

2. Once there, scroll down until you see the login option pictured below.

3. Login to your existing Eventive account OR create a new Eventive account if this is your first time purchasing tickets from us.

4. Click on LOGIN and use the credentials that you created when you purchased the 5 or 10 ticket pack. Your account will be linked to your email account.

5. Once you are logged in you can scroll down through the screenings and begin ordering tickets.

6. If you are having trouble accessing your pass please email support@salemfilmfest.com.

where do i purchase tickets?

Individual tickets and ticket packs are all available to purchase on our website through our ticketing partner Eventive. You may buy tickets one by one or purchase a ticket pack and then select the films you wish to order. We recommend ordering all of your film screening tickets online to save time. We strongly encourage you to plan ahead with advance purchases to avoid delays or sell outs.

You will also be able to purchase tickets to any of our in-person screenings at the SFF Ticket Desk which will be located at two of our venues (Cinema Salem and the Peabody Essex Museum) during the festival hours, as long as tickets are still available.

how much are tickets?

Individual tickets are $14. Ticket packs of 5 are $60 ($2 off each) and ticket packs of 10 are $110 ($3 off each). Save on your tickets by purchasing a ticket pack. Ticket packs are purchased first, and then redeemed one by one for each screening of your choice and are valid for either in-person or virtual screenings. Ticket packs do not guarantee a seat; you must apply your ticket pack to specific film screenings.

i have a ticket pack. how do i apply it to a specific film?

You will need to create an account on our ticketing partner Eventive. Use the same email that you used to purchase your ticket pack. Your Eventive account will tied to a single email account.

Choose the film you want to get tickets for, and click on the red button ‘SELECT A SHOWING’. Choose the screening time and then click ORDER TICKETS. On the checkout page, you will add the quantity of tickets to your cart. Be sure to enter the email address associated with your Eventive account so that you may use the ticket pack credits in your account. Your tickets will be emailed to you.

how do I show my ticket at the in person screening?

Your tickets will be emailed to you, to the email address logged in when purchasing. At a screening, you may either print out a paper ticket at home, or you may present the ticket barcode found in your confirmation email to the volunteer at the door of the auditorium by using your smartphone. When you arrive at a screening, you may proceed directly to the auditorium door and do not need to stop at the SFF ticket desk.

i have a PROMO code. how do i use it to watch a film?

You can order tickets online using your promo/discount code. Create an account or log into your account on our ticketing partner Eventive. Choose the film you want to watch, and click on the red button SELECT A SHOWING. Choose the screening time and then click ORDER TICKETS. In the checkout page, you will add the quantity of tickets to your cart. Enter the DISCOUNT CODE given to you. Be sure to enter the email address associated with your Eventive account so that your tickets will be applied to an existing account.

You may also redeem your promo code for tickets at the SFF Ticket Desk at any of our venues during festival screening hours. Present the code you were given to the SFF Ticket Desk volunteer to redeem for an in person ticket. Please note that you do not want to give out your code to anyone. Each code is for a limited number of uses and once those are complete there will be no more redemptions accepted. 

SFF Ticket desk at Cinema salem

Our SFF Fest Organizers and Volunteers will be on hand at each screening. Look for those wearing Salem Film Fest t-shirts! The SFF Ticket Desk at Cinema Salem will be available to answer many of your questions. Be sure to ask the folks in the Fest t-shirts, rather than at the concession stand. The Cinema Salem staff may be assisting non-film fest theater goers who are attending another concurrent movie screening.
